There are many reasons for choosing an in-home pet care service during times you are away from home.
The greatest advantage is the physical and foremost mental well being of your four-legged family member.
To understand an animals mind and his behaviour, we cannot forget that pets are almost always territorial even when domesticated!
Sharing space with other animals (in one room or building or next to each other) means a stressful environment for most pets, together with being surrounded by the unknown, from the rooms to the outside.
At home we most likely established a certain routine with our dogs and cats (or even the small critters) because we instinctively feel or find out (the hard way) they do best with knowing what to expect- just like children.So why of a sudden break this routine?
What may be the result of a stressed out pet?

- behavioural issues like destruction,
marking, excessive barking, chewing

Daniela transfered to the US and Killeen in 2005 with her husband Sean getting orders for his new duty station after he was spending 8 years in Kitzingen, Germany where Daniela and Sean met at first.
Their two daughters keep the house busy and two shelter kitties which traveled along accumulated to fifteen over the past view years here in town, all abandoned strays roaming the neighborhoods and now wuseling around Daniela's household.
She had earned her degrees as a professional drafter in the fields of technical and architectural contruction.
In her first year in the US Daniela got many requests by her husband's co-workers and friends to care for their pets while in the field but as they where living in tight quarters the care had to take place in the pets own homes... with great results of happy dogs and cats.
Not even knowing that such thing as pet sitters even exist, Daniela started researching extensively, obtained registrations, insurance/bond and everything she would expect herself in a great and trustworthy pet sitting company and opened EASY CARE's doors in 2006 and it's growing every since thanks to the many great clients the company has the oportunity to assist with all their pet sitting needs.
I'm from a military family and was born and raised in Washington State. I now call Texas home and live in Killeen with my husband and daughter. We have three furry family members, Willow - a Weimaraner/lab shelter rescue, Ammo - a Beagle, and Kaloa - a Chihuahua. Growing up, I always had a love and compassion for all creatures. I've raised countless numbers of hamsters and gerbils. Other pets included many dogs, a dwarf rabbit, guinea pig, fish, and a chameleon. I am a graduate of Central Texas College and a registered medical transcriptionist. I'm also an avid runner and like to participate in local and out of state running events.

My name is Pamela Thomas and I am the Office Manager for EaseMyMind, LLC. I was born in Oklahoma and grew up with the love for animals. Growing up I have had several kinds of pets from German shepards, American bulldogs,
"Prince" the Pug, my many kitties, bunnies, hermit crabs, fish, reptiles, gerbil and even a pet Raccoon! At an early age I loved helping people and organizing. Even my first job I quickly moved into a management position. At that point I knew I wanted to help others and went to college for business management. Because of my nack for helping others and wanting to improve the community, I formed an organization that gave our youth a place to build self esteem and showcase their talent. We organized an arena for our youth to come and improve themselves and produced showcases within the community to display our youths talent. Later after College the military life took me to Hawaii for 5 years. Where I enjoyed the beautiful weather year round and once again landed a position where I was the Executive Director of a talent agency. In Hawaii I had my first born, Jordan "JoJo". A few years later in 2006 I move to the Big state of Texas where I have been raising my son. During the years here in Texas I have utilized my skills in management in different organizations which kept me long hours from home in executive positions. I had decided to spend more time at home while I was expecting my second child, Jaylen. In 2011, I came across a wonderful opportunity with Daniela who was expanding her business and was in need to finally share her office duties of her "Baby" (EaseMyMind, LLC). I love the ideal of helping others and caring for their pets. And now I am the person you call to book your next trip to care for your pets;) It's a pleasure helping our clients Ease their Mind while they are away from home;)

Good for multiple pet homes, short walks, play time, feeding under supervision, etc. We require at least one visit per day for cats and recommend choosing this type of visit. For dogs the requirement is at least twice a day, many dogs are best though with 2-4 visits a day. Mix and match visits to build a package you feel comfortable with.
EXTENDED VISITS ~
45 minutes
Best for longer walks, multiple pet homes, pets with special needs and diets, lawn watering, or just giving your pet more one on one attention, time to cuddle and play.
HOURLY VISITS

Requirements
- all dogs and cats have to be on a monthly flea and tick prevention
and up-to-date on their rabies vaccination.
We may ask for a copy of the current rabies certificate.
- 2(!) copies of house keys with the option to store it securely at
EaseMyMind,LLC for future services, emergencies
and added convenience.
A $10.00 fee applies if keys will have to be picked up/ returned.
- All animals must be non-aggressive.
- Credit Card information has to be (securely) stored in client account
to ensure payment after services have been rendered if no other
payment arrangements have been made prior to services/ by the
time service begins (first visit).

How do get started
Getting started is as easy as setting up an Initial Consultation- which can last anywhere from 1 to 2.5 hours- we will take all the time needed, explaining the details of our of our work, gathering every possible info about your pets to provide the best care, and making sure all your questions are answered and fill out the necessary paperwork.
We will discuss your normal everyday routine with your pets and develope a customized care plan for your babies.
(Do you worry because your pet is shy and a little skittish because they are not used to other people around them? We can work on that over a longer period of time with frequent visits while you are around until your pet feels comfy!)
!We understand it is a great deal of trust to allow someone to care for your furry babies and go into your home in your absence. The whole purpose is that you can feel ABSOLUTELY comfortable and worry-free
